**2024 Tundra i-FORCE MAX Hybrid – Won’t Start**
My 2024 Tundra i-FORCE MAX was driving normally, then suddenly stopped and displayed **“Hybrid System Malfunction.”**
The **READY light now blinks but never stays on**, and the engine does not start. The truck powers on but cannot be driven.
I charged both the **12V and hybrid batteries**, and the Hybrid System Malfunction disappeared temporarily. However, after the battery discharged again, the same problem returned.
When I press START, I can feel **vibration from the engine/motor as if it is trying to start**, but it never actually starts or reaches READY mode.
A diagnostic scan showed **no obvious fault codes**.
Has anyone experienced this? What could cause the engine/motor to attempt starting but fail to enter READY mode?

75 years of Land Cruiser 🎉
August 1st marked 75 years since the original BJ.
In Japan, Land Cruiser BASE — Toyota's official fan community — kicked off the anniversary year with an owners' camp event in the Gunma highlands — the kind of celebration that fits this truck: a campground, not a showroom.
Here's to the next 75 years — and to the fans around the world who keep these trucks alive.
Wherever you are, let's celebrate here too. What's your Land Cruiser story — the first one you owned (or dreamed of), or the series you'd defend in any argument?
